About Us
Astra Vascular is expanding across Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx, and we are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist who can independently handle the full outpatient IR workflow.
We are a high-volume, minimally invasive vascular & interventional practice providing treatments for varicose veins, fibroids, prostate conditions, PAD, and more.
This role is perfect for an IR physician who values autonomy, efficiency, and a modern outpatient setting.
Position Overview
You will be responsible for performing the full scope of outpatient IR procedures at our Astra Vascular centers.
You must be proficient in:
✅ Venous interventions
✅ Embolization procedures (including UFE & PAE)
✅ Image-guided diagnostics
✅ Minimally invasive outpatient treatments
This role offers high patient volume, clinical autonomy, and a stable outpatient schedule.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Perform the full range of IR procedures offered at Astra Vascular (vein treatments, embolization procedures, image-guided interventions, etc.).
✅ Evaluate and diagnose patients in clinic; interpret imaging and vascular studies.
✅ Provide high-quality, minimally invasive care with a focus on safety, outcomes, and patient experience.
✅ Collaborate with our vascular and clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and treatment pathways.
✅ Maintain clinical documentation, compliance, hospital privileges (if applicable), and CME requirements.
Qualifications
✅ MD or DO with board certification/board eligibility in Interventional Radiology.
✅ Active or eligible New York State medical license.
✅ Strong proficiency across the IR spectrum—must be able to perform “everything we do” in the practice.
✅ Excellent communication, bedside manner, and clinical judgment.
✅ Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume outpatient environment.
